Design, art, and architecture have surrounded Vivian since childhood, where her international upbringing in the U.S., Spain, and France offered her constant exposure to inspirational historic spaces. She realized early on that beauty in physical surroundings can have a direct effect on people’s moods; she earned a M.S. in Interior Architecture + Design from Drexel University in Philadelphia focusing her award-winning Thesis study on the qualities of spatial organization and ornamentation that foster well-being.
A child of college professors, she has also taught various design courses as an adjunct professor at Drexel University. Prior to joining Kelly Mericle Design, Vivian was a long-serving Senior Designer at Eberlein Design Consultants, Ltd. in Philadelphia. She is a proponent of working systematically, believing that organized processes create an essential footing for fruitful creative and forward-thinking results.
